How do I die?

Is there something special I have to do to die? I have a philosophers stone and I'm trying to die to see what happens.
Do I become a Lich or something? 
Also, excellent mod, no other mod has managed to be both fun and depressing at the same time.

You'll lose the stone and live on. If you don't have a stone... well, ye be gone.

I recommend checking the progress thread to see what's going on, though. Liches will be in the next version, it seems.

Garrison all your troops and go to battle without any armor - hurl yourself upon your enemies' pikes!

There is only one thing to be gained from dying...

... so, depending on your playing style, it is probably worth it.

And thank you - that is exactly the atmosphere I was intending to create, as an homage to Edgar Allan Poe: melodrama. Even more fun and depression coming up in the next version, which I should be releasing soon, if all goes well.
