How do I change my serial key?

I recently got back into playing Mount & Blade, but with my new computer I had to re enter my serial key I had bought a year or 2 ago during the beta. Unable to find my printed receipt, I unfortunately resulted to grabbing one off of Youtube. Well, I just discovered and followed Archonsod's instructions to retrieve my lost serial key, and was successful.

Basically what I'm asking is if there is a way to change my filthy serial key, so I can feel good that I am playing an actual legit copy of M&B.

Completely uninstall and then reinstall?

On second thought, I have too many custom and edited textures to do that

You should be able to find it in the registry, which was probably how you found it in the first place? And change it there? Not sure how, but maybe there're instructions someplace around.
