Sounds like you're either incredibly retarded or playing cRPG, the latter of which fulfils the former.

In native you can only buy what is in the menu (Esc > Choose Equipment).

Each faction has a different set of equipment however, and you can of course choose troop (Esc > Choose Troop) to get sets of equipment for Archer, Cav or Inf.

If you want help with a cRPG issue then ask in their forums at http://forum.c-rpg.net/. To purchase new equipment for your character you'll also have to create a cRPG account where it allows you to buy weapons from the marketplace and so on, although personally I would advise getting arse out of cRPG and start with the real challenge of Native. Any further problems would best be posted on their forums though.

Wow you guys are all assholes.

Follow the instructions at c-rpg.net to create a new character. Then once you've logged in to your cRPG character, go to the equipment tab, and then the shop tab that appears under it.

Then click on those buttons to the left side (circled in the picture) to determine what type of weapon you want to shop for.

Lets say I wanted to buy a nordic short sword. I would click on the one-handed weapons icon to the left (which is the second one from the left on the top row, you can see what type of weapon it will be by scrolling over it). Then I scroll down to the Nordic Short Sword Box that appears in the main area of the screen, and press the buy button:

If you don't have enough money, you can't buy it. If you do have enough money, just click the button that's circled in that picture and it will appear in your inventory. If you're ingame when you buy it, it may take a few rounds for it to appear in your equipment screen.

Those icons look really obvious and self-explanatory to me.

Horses, one-handed weapons/swords, two-handed weapons, polearms, helms, armour, gauntlets, boots, shields, throwing weapons, bows, crossbows, arrows, bolts.

 @ the advertisement though.
