How do I award a vassal a fief?

As independent ruler. Is it not in the game yet? Am I missing something? is it a mod only thing?
I usually post on steam and avoid forums like the plague, but I like this game. So here I am.

It's not yet implemented, but there is a mod called DiplomacyReworked that will let you gift a fief to a vassal.

Yeah, atm regions are owned by clans rather than individual Lords.

Ah thank you all. I will check into this diplomacy mod. I was hoping to award a castle to one of my companions.
