How do Companions get spawned in game

Does Anybody know how and when new companions are being spawned?

Do I need to kill the others or hire and fire them? I want more Sturgian companions and scout,, but they are there..

Also since the new patch the Aserai companions have crazy high stats? Why?

Are there any low level companions I can form?

Same here. Do I have to start a new Game as my encyclopaedia doesn´t show any "The Swordman" or "the Smith", or are compagnions generated randomly in the world map?

The do spawn during the game.. But I don't get the mechanis behind it For example yesterday I had to go back a few saves.. now suddenly in this save I got more companions than the save which was further in game... Does exiting the game and reloading help? no idea..

Also I see Aserai companions have the Swordman and Wanderer etc companions,, can a Sturgian or Battanian get those as well? or are the surnames/ titles fixed.

The wanderer is 1 sick companion (she has 15 focus points to distribute),, but she is Aserai in my game..
