How can I play multiplayer?

How can I play multiplayer? I got newest version 1.153. And I would like to play on some famous maps, like Helm's Deep Lotr for example.

No, no. Do I have to download [M] mods for playing more famous servers. When I choose multiplayer on my native, there are no servers, except one I host.

There should be several servers available. You might want to check for any filters you might have set in Warband (they're in the upper part of the join multiplayer screen), and that you haven't blocked Warband from accessing the internet with a software firewall.

(If you want to play mods you of course have to download those mods.)
