The bad news is that I had a problem with the pc lately, and although I made backups of everything, in my brightness I overlooked the map which is lost now. I'll keep looking, but I think its gone for good.

The good news is that now that I'll have to work on a new one from scratch, some minor bugs won't be present and I'll try my best to expand it to southern thrace and asia minor, while keeping enough space for the greeks to move around. That means the thracians will have their own land and persia will be a solid possibility (though even if they're present, they'll have a minor npc role in the war, and will be a hardcore kingdom to rule / be a part of).

I'll keep the thread updated as I go. If RL stuff keep going smoothly, this should be finished in a couple days.

well thats bad and good news i guess...

glad to see you back and working on the mod (since that probarbly means your gf is feeling better )

ps. dude... why did you change your pic? you look way more shaggy and dirty in the new one... you looked prettier in the old one

Ah, it's very irritating when you lose soemthing you've put a bunch of work into to something like a harddrive crash.

Well, I hope that tool helps you getting it done faster and maybe better. By the way, could you find it?

Good luck with the map.
Those damn problems of HD. I lost all my stuff last week because of those damn crashs.

Ha, true true. Thing is, I try to be honest with myself, I am totally shaggy and sloppy at the moment. Thanks, yeah she's feeling better, still has to do some tests and keep the trombosis at bay, but things are way smoother now.

Me too, I won't put more than necessary in there, I'm not fond of strategy games maps myself, I like room to move around, feels more realistic.

Soil:

Its not that I put sooo much work in it. The map is the easiest part of a mod imo. The pity is that it was beautiful enough, and detailed, BUT it didn't cover critical areas of the conflict, so its an evil for the better, anyway.

Thanks, Joeshady.
