Hours of Pain...Still Can't Host

Hello,

All I want from this game is to let me play with my friend against npcs but he cannot see my server on the list when I host it. I have tried EVERYTHING. Forwarded ports 80, 7240, 7241, 7241 on my router and firewall, made sure I checked "show on public servers, and tried disabling my firewall and running a dedicated server from the talesworlds download. I tried even more things. I can see my server on LAN and on the general server list, but my friend still cannot see me. This is very painful and I am considering giving up and just renting a server. But it's ridicuolous to pay $8 a month for just the two of us when I SHOULD be able to do this for free through my PC. Please, if anyone has any suggestions to fix this or even a hosting server that will let me buy 2 slots insted of the minimum 10, I would be very grateful.

You could always try both using hamachi, would rule out the router/firewall being an issue. Might also be worth checking that your friend doesn't have any filters active in their in-game server browser.

Thank you for the quick reply Gis!

I tried hamachi with my friend and he sees my lan game, but when he tries to join it says "Incorrect Authorization." How do i fix this?
