The issue would be that you do not have Wine installed. Visit Wine's website for instructions on how to install it/compile it for your relevant distro. For CentOS it's rather straightforward, simply acquire the EPEL repository for YUM and run the command "yum install wine".

Though I'd really advise not trying to run a gameserver on a VPS as this can have severe performance implications or issues when it comes to the companies acceptable usage policy =]

I got stumped when I got to finding my router in the port forwarding section. I tried for atleast an hour with everything possible, but I just could not find my router.

If you go to cmd (command prompt) and type ipconfig, your router will be the default gateway address listed there.  Typically it's 192.168.1.1. but may be a bit different.  Type that address in you web browser.

how can i change the port wich is used by warband?

i know, i can choose it in the dedicated server config, but can i change the port, wich is used by warband it selve?

and is there any difference between the ports?

I have a problem. My example password is abc123 but when I type that in the password and log into my game i'm not an admin and I have no admin panel (Napoleonic wars)
This is my logs 19:59:53 - SERVER has joined the game with ID: 0 and has administrator rights.
20:17:26 - Wardern_Audric_Sword has joined the game with ID: 538971 even with my pass.

In order to set the admin pass of your server, open your configuration file (the one you set with the command '-r') and add the line 'set_pass_admin <passwd>'.
Make sure to put this line before the line 'start'.

Look at your .bat file, let's say you want to start a NW server.
You would have the file 'NW_Sample_Battle_start.bat', open it, you'll have something like 'mb_warband_dedicated.exe -r NW_Sample_Battle.txt -m Napoleonic Wars'.

The file 'NW_Sample_Battle.txt' is your configration file, open it, edit things such as server name welcome message, your settings in general.
When it's not, save the file and start the .bat file, if you don't understand how commands work, read the file 'README.txt'.

Thanks. I also fixed the problem by removing the #at the beginning of the line.

You should open the port on your router if you're running it on your PC.

EDIT: Im hosting from the uk and my friend lives in NA. Is that why?
