I am hosting a dedicated server on my computer. I followed all the steps and managed to get the game started. When I attempt to join the server, I get the loading screen (with the beautiful TW loading pictures). Then, after a few seconds, I get disconnected and the following message appears : "Game ended, your connection with the server timed out". The server stays up, but I can't connect !

I created a custom map, on which I placed spawn_visual and spawning points. I created a config file to start the server, and edited the start.bat file. I also created a sceneobj folder in the DedicatedCustomServerHelper folder, to allow players to download my custom map.

Here are a few screen shots of the issue :

afaik this usually happens when your port forwarding wasn't setup correctly.
Could you please elaborate? There are a lot of unresolved threads with this issue where everyone is able to join a custom server except for players on the same network (i.e. the hosts). What aspect of port forwarding affects this?

Maybe you need to enter in your router and find the port fowarding option, i see no port number in the batch file, so the default port should be 7210.

First set a static ip address for your server in network card setting, after in the router enable port forwarding for UDP and TCP in port 7210 for the specific ip address you set.

Reboot the server and the router..
good luck
