Horses used to upgrade soldiers shouldn't draw from your best ones first

Why am I giving my prize spare horses to some mooks who are probably going to die ingloriously in the first place? If I have to give one, I should be able to prioritize which horses go to them. At the very least, make it automatically take the lower end first, not the top.

Should has option to lock the horse you want to ride or give to companion to avoid they will be give to common soldiers for promotion.

agreed its pretty damn infuriating to have them steal that awesome horse you've been saving for when you can actually ride it yourself

yeah the lock button shoudl lock it from being sold and being used by your men when they upgrade

I wanna know how my peasants managed to get the 90 riding required to even ride all those fine horses they steal, since I've been fighting in every tournament and bandit uprising in Calradia and I still can't manage them,

+1

I don't like the new unit upgrade system, it may be realistic, but I'd rather just pay a higher upgrade fee than have to supply bloody horses to every single unit.

I have the same problem.Since I've no town or castle, and I'm not willing to give my rare horses to those pesants, I won't upgrade any unit to calvary-except for a raider, for I have got plenty steppe warhorses.

Just disregard the levelling system completely, the grind isn't worth trying to figure out. If you plan on being a baseline profile with no perks throughout the entire campaign, you can't be disappointed when the obtuse grinding system makes getting any of them impossible.

That's the thing, some of them are easy to grind. Make yourself quartermaster and stock a few food items and you get steward points out the wazoo. Lead an army to pick up leadership points pretty easy.

But holy hell just how many mooks do I need to run down with a lance to get some damned polearm points?!

peasants calling other peasants, LOL

Yeah, I do not foud this good because all time you seaching for horse to just upgrade, then soldier got killed, you lost money if bought, time and horse is very limited resource. It's not like where warband knight hard to killed but in this game, knight or horsemen easy got killed than warband, so it's not funny all time, cost, training only to lose that.
