Horse weirdness...

In a battle, I knocked a khergit off his horse, and the horse began to fade away. Before it fully faded, I mounted it, and started going. However, the horse kept fading, and eventually disappeared, leaving me stuck in one place, in the "riding" position. I got out of the battle alive, but some better-than-expendable troops died, too.

I have also experienced this bug a few times. It also happens to your troops if you tell them to mount up, and sometimes it doesn't even seem like the horse is fading away when you mount it, but ends up disappearing anyway. Why is it even necessary for the horses to fade away in the first place?

because they get in the way if they don't. Although it's infuriating when you're trying to get another horse after yours died, and it dissapears while you're running toward it.

I strongly feel that the horses should not fade away after the death or defeat of their rider. In every other aspect of the game they seem to be going for realism and this really break the continuity for me. In addition, in WAR the horses would get in the way... I would like to push for the horses to NOT fade away when their rider is defeated!!)
