Horse units?

Is it me or is there actually no upgrade-able / purchasable cavalry units for your army? Been looking for a while now and i've only seen other AI armies with them.

Depends on your faction, if you check the troop trees, some rely on cavalry quite a lot. I have also bought some horsemen in mead halls/taverns.

ah yeah looked a troop tree vikings don't get any cav at all. nevermind thanks for that.

I've seen Frankish Horsemen mercenaries a couple of times in Norse mead halls, you could employ those guys.

Also dont expect to have a killing cavalry group. If you simple charge them against a shieldwall....

You gonna have to use flanking tactics at the same time you send your infantry.
