Hi,
I was to preface that this happened 8/8/20.
I was using horse archers to spur my enemy infantry to charge my formation of archers and infantry. During this I dismounted them from their horses to improve their accuracy.
I only used the loose formation yet somehow a few of them kept going to the trees and using them as cover. I figured it was the AI being smart. Eventually when told them to remount and several of the horse archers refused to remount. instead they preferred their trees. The only command I could use to pry them off the tree was retreat, that was an unreasonable action because I would lose ~50 horse archers from the battlefield to save ~5.
The super weird part is that some of them did it after mounting.
