Holding a feast

I've got masses of food and in a huge variety. I've got plenty of oil and spice. But it tells me we have a scant amount of drinks and in small variety. I've been around every town and collected every barrel of ale and wine I could find and stocked them in my household inventory. What other drinks are there? None that I've seen. I can't possibly get any more as I filled over half of my household inventory with them. Why does it tell me we don't have enough? I've got plenty of everything but my wife still tells me it's less than adequate. What do I need to do?

Right. So if I go ahead and hold the feast will it be ignored or took into account?

Edit: Something I just noticed. I haven't seen it in previous patches. I can take my weapons into the lords halls in castle. I'm not sure if this is  bug or intentional but I'm just pointing it out incase anybody hasn't noticed

Did a quick search but didn't see it. Maybe have been posted on the bug tracker but I hate that thing and refuse to use it

Edit: And I can't seem to leave a castle with the tab key. Just alt+tab out of the game so no time to search

You can just walk in and shoot the guards and nobody cares. You've always been able to do this in the courtyard though. I haven't checked all castles but many of them seem to be without a castle guard

I've encountered not being able to tab out of castles as well, you should just be able to manually enter the lord's hall or prison and then tab out from there.

Have started the rescue a prisoner quest anytime in the past?

How could you produce this? Did you start prison break at last visit or at previous visits?

Well I've never got a rescue lord quest so it can't be that. I'm not sure about socks though. I'm busy right now so can't test

Ok so you just lose your companion to a lord then he/she will bring him/her to his/her castle and lock them up you go in and kill the gaurds or bribe him then free your companion its quite enjoying too cause the citizens are still aroundw he nyou jail break

Never done that nor received such a quest. And it shouldn't happen at all castles should it? Only the one where your companion is prisoner? So it can't be that

Its not a quest let your army be beat up and companion taken or just find a castle with a lord prisoneer go to the castle courtyard walk around and then find the prison gaurd and talk to him you shall see it. ^^

Well, I've got all my companions and there's definitely no lords in the prison. I'm going to start a new game and see if I still can't tab out.

If there is a lord in the prison, someone somewhere will be offering a quest to free him. You don't have to take the quest to do it, but I think there's a reward of some sort if you do.

I don't care about the quest. I just want to know why I can't tab out of castles. I started a new game and could tab out of all the castles I visited so could I have done in my original save? I want to see if I can recreate it

Ask the husband? or a minister or companion or somebody maybe.
