Hey all, I've been away for a bit 'cause my Internet's down at home, so I'm at the library.
Anyways, I've been thinking about setting up a dorm radio station at college. I would need an FM transmitter and probably a mic. I found a cheap transmitter (it's my first stab at making a radio station, so I'd like to start cheap) at hobbytron.com. The URL is http://www.hobbytron.com/fm-radio-transmitter.html, but they apparently use some stupid java thing so you can't directly link to the product. I'm looking at the Ramsey FM10C with case, for $44.95. I'm not really asking about the transmitter (though if you've any experience, please comment)--my real question is: have any of you dealt with hobbytron before? Are they reliable and honest? Would you buy the transmitter from them?
Thanks for your comments, and sorry if it takes me awhile to get back to this thread--like I said, my home connection is down, and I work eight hours a day, so I may not be to the library again for a few more days.
