Hey! and thanx for a great mod. This is actually a good challenge. I was crusing around with my 42 men army, and then i saw a fast little angry army "The Fallen ones" where following me wit 5.9 in speed.  I suspected these where some heavy sons of *****es and i dont like sending low lvl units to the slaughter so i aimed for the closest castle. But they catched up with me. I put my units on hold, and charged them (knight)  i did over 150 damage ALOT of times to theese ****ers until  i recieved a javelin to my head.

What is their HP? this was just sick:P

well im guessing around 500? they dont wear protective gear that you cant beat past - I managed to kill 6 alone on easy and being very very lucky - my horse didnt even take the ticket.....if they just stay at a size below 10 I dont mind a party of them being here and there....consider them your personal sins and deed haunting you  :) - if they roamed the land in sizes of 50 or 60 I would protest but these small parties are okay for me.

to compare parties - Ive had trouble with headhunters in the past but after getting back to health and attacking 72 headhunters alone - again on easy I managed to kill or knock down all save 3 horsemen and 6 footmen while still on my mount - finished off the rest while on foot - actually looking for a living mount on the field but the enemies ganged up on me - shield took the ticket while I had 3 enemies left - one of them a rider - a few swings with the mace and using the lance to get the rider down to my level of view.....*whack* - victory - still had half my health left (around 41/85) - piece of cake compaired to the fallen ones....

459 damage? - impressive - ive been around 430 a couple of times but i have not added anything to striking skills or anything im just at 30 strength at the moment...later perhaps with a good strength and points into powerstrikes and a good lance ill be able to kill them in one go....if lucky.......I like the fallen ones....they sure are a challenge  :)

To be honest I fought with them only when I had an army so I dint even got to touch them... sometime I will try it out to see what is it about.

just saw a migrating bear tribe.....EEEKKKK.....who cares about 8 fallen ones.....438 bear folks could take over a city:).......would be a hoot:)......almost feel like seeing how many i could manage to kill before i take the ticket:)

102 killed and 3 wounded in the first battle - then i was happy to see that i had the option to leave - very nice...ill return when i have regained the hitpoints i lost during fighting:) - in a few days when i have destroyed that "tribe" my name will make every kid in the remaining bearpeoples tribes shake in his pants...ehhh....skin....ill be the monster under the bed...eehhh....sleeping fur.

Hmm, someone should integrate the custom battle mod into this one and see what a battle of 150 fallen VS 300 bear tribesmen would be like. Probably would end with the fallen winning, but it'd still be spectacular.

I wacked a army with 30 headhunters and 30 mountain bandits. They had 8 captured barbarians. and some grizzeled whatever. When i took all the best ones my  weekly wake sky rocketed past 33k pr week. Luckily i saw a swadian caravan so i wacked it and took the closest swadian castle i found. HOLY **** those captured barbariens are fast and kill everything:P

wow.  but they got so little armor. so they are defeatable. i had to put them all in my castle. freakish expensive wage

What's the reasoning behind captured barbarians being so powerful?

they aren't that special, Veteran warlords, scourges, ironclad knights, rangers of reyvadin have the same stats.

hmm, they seem a lot stronger then rangers of reyvadin and ironclad knights, don't know about the others though. I personally found their speed pretty extreme not to mention that they can one-hit me with 150 points of damage while wearing plate armor with 80 resistance... something the archers or the knights weren't able to do so far.

Well, that begs this questions, then, if they have shared stats:  Why are they soooo much more expensive (the capt'd barbs) than the veteran warlords?  Or did I imagine that...? 0_o  All I know is that I've got a group of 15 of them in my party and they pretty much lay waste to everything when I go into siege-mode (a la General Sherman; US Civil War) even faster than I can!!  Currently, I am enjoying the war with the Khegrits, as their armor has... somewhat less dmg-soaking properties.  Yeah, they're nasty...

they have same wages as veteran warlords.

They seems really powerful because you can get large numbers of them easier than the rest but rescuing them from headhunters, this is going to be reduced in 0.92. And also because they have light armor and move fast, they can move form one target to the next very quickly, raking up kills and helping each other along.

Oh.. My mistake.  I just checked, and, yup.  I'm an idiot.  I was talking about the Veteran Goliaths.  The Goliaths are great units, as they can yield the capt'd barbs, but the first time I got two of them leveled, I tried for one of each, seeing the massive cash difference between the two.  Imma have to try some of these vet warlords, then.
