History of Mount & Blade?

I've just been wondering... Who made Mount & Blade and how long did it take to make the original release? Is there any plan to get more people on the team? If so, what skills would be required?

Armagan and Ipek Yavuz, a husband and wife team from Turkey has made this game. They have recently moved to their new office in Ankara (that's where I live, he he). They said they will expand the team. In fact, that's why they moved to an office. If you want to join the team, I guess you should pm Armagan.
