Wasn't sure where to put this, but the pictish crossbow in brytenwalda seems to look a bit silly to me.

I guess there's not much to go on, but based on the pictish stone (with what appears to be a hooded, crossbow-wielding hunter) I think the crossbows would be a much more simplistic mechanism than the gigantic windlassed crossbow in brytenwalda. Clearly the one depicted on the stone does not look particularly complex.

Or he could have found the sword on the battlefield forgoing a previous weapon retaining his crappy pajamas.
Additionally his champion could have set the mod options to autoloot.
 
Whats up with the pouch on the axeman? He must be hiding something. What is he hiding!!??! I guess its a coin pouch but why take coinage on to the battlefield.
