Title says it all.

They're an awfully hard unit to obtain right now, and really, they've got mercenary written all over them, so they should be willing to join you for a price. After all, they're manhunters!

I agree, I think hiring manhunters is a bit more realistic than hiring watchmen (aren't they supposed to be watching?)

You can hire peasants and militia. militia are civilians with minimum military training but don't belong to the army.

i'm all for manhunters recruitment, maybe make them a bit more pricy to hire so they fit their names

Yeah, I was more referring to the Zendar side of things.

Yeah the manhunters should be hire able. though I would rather hire whatchmen since manhunters die very fast. there should also be possible to hire bandits etc. at dhorak keep. and perhaps make the steppe bandits upgradeable(got a bunch of em after a fight whit a swadian warparty, and they suck, why not possible to upgrade them to something better? and the sea raiders should be turned into vikings when they are upgraded), and add more kinds of stupid npc that are slaughterd when trying to rob you

By the way, how are manhunters max upgraded? ie. How usefull are they? Right now I'm using vaegir knights, swadian knights, hired swords for my personal cavalry.. I tried using sword sisters, but somehow find that they are the first to die, and don't kill as many enemies... Haven't had a chance to try manhunters yet.. (max upgraded I mean)

Now back to topic, 100% agree with the idea, as well as maybe have a larger difference in units who you can 'hire'. For example, right now you can only hire level 1 peasants or level 2 militia. What about higher level troops, (more expensive of course), and have a bit more variety in neutral cities? (eg. zendar can maybe have a few vegir / swadian mercenaries sitting at the bar waitin for a job)

Lastly, what about having 'sword sisters' or female militants increase the morale of troops? Theoretically it shouldn't make a difference, practically and realistically it will ::grin:
Men would probably fight better with a bunch of leather-clad girls riding along side with them.. LoL (ok I admit I wasn't 100% serious, but it would be interesting to think about this no? ::razz:)
