What is your highest rank and wage?

zero, i work solo with my main character.

At the rank of Knight, my wage is something like 30 denars a week...

i always get to rank 3 then i can't seem to get any higher (though i usually get a new version as soon as i get near that rank so i guess i haven't tried that much)

If memory serves, the highest rank is Master Knight or Grandmaster Knight or something to that effect. I don't remember the wage because that was a while ago in an older version but it was probably something like 50 denars/week.

i got to grandmaster-knight in the newer version , can you join any other armies besides the vaegirs and swadians?

I hear you.... what the hell is with the wages? you can make more than that when starting off from killing a bunch of river pirates and selling their gear! DAMN STINGEY ASS KING!

Think about it... 60 pieces of gold each week would be more than enough for most knights, nobles even.

It is just the chances we get at superior incomes in forms of escorting, trading, looting and performing missions.

yeah i can hear that. but still, it doesnt even cover the food....thatd buy like one lot of dried meat and about 1/5 of another, which would go in what, a day or maybe a little more depending on the size of your army?

i guess im looking at it too much though, its not like anyone would look to the king for an actual source of income...
