Nice yes, but too fantasy for M&B. I would keep this thread on the topic of High Def modding M&B, everyone. As I understand the nature of the project, that means either recreating(as faithfully as possible I might add) or just upping the models and textures of M&B.

On that subject, I finally got something into the game successfully - not a model for this project mind you, just a test model. Now it's only a matter of time before I can start on some of the models. Got a few things to try out yet, though.
 
i think its not too fantasy but well...i like fantasy...

by up, you mean like making model better, you can but can't get it back into M&B for some reason...
 
I second that, and I got an idea. After high Def. of this M and B mod is done, someone can make other small pack mod that includes fantasy weapons in for any of us who would love to have these included in your mod as well.

My plate is full now but at some point Im going to need some unique looking weapons for The Final Days. You are more than welcome to help. If you come up with any LOTR inspired ones, be sure to let me know.
 
any model that would use deformations (animating) like torsos(including armor), horses, legs, etc. have special info imbeded that doesn't export. Once that is worked out, then I've got some stuff waiting.
 
: / Ok, that's anoying cuz the armor is the worst looking part of the game IMO.
Swords don't really look too bad.
 
He isn't actually banned ...

He received that title for posting a picture of Mr. Bean doing a strange thing in his underwear. I believe it is a inside joke between LL and him.

I really need some good skinners working on this before I start in on it fully.
I can't skin at all so I NEED skinners.
 
I think that I would like to see the animations really polished and more added before it swings around to graphics.

Animations do need some polish, and I'd rather see more graphics features (shadows, reflection mapping) than just a higher poly count.

Those with low-end comps could certainly disable the fancier features, use lower-res textures, etc..
