Hide or Toggle names on the map.

Hi,

Apologies if this has been asked before, I imagine it has but I can't find it via search.

Is there a way to hide or toggle on and off all of the castle, town and village names on the map?

When I mouse over a castle, town or village the name appears, this is really all I want to see. Having the whole map covered in names is spoiling the immersion for me.

In Rome total war ctrl and J hides the city names, I would love to be told that there is a simple method like this, but if I have to edit some files I am willing to have a go.

If you're looking for immersion, I recommend the "1257 Edition" mod (http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/board,121.0.html ). The entire mod's goal is to create a more immersive experience, focusing on quality changes over quantity. One of those changes is that all of the towns have the same color name, so you have to actually look at the banner flying above the city to see who owns it. Tricky at first, but adds a lot to the immersion aspect. That, plus a bunch of other changes, make it a good mod for a player looking for something more realistic.

Nope, sorry. There is no way to hide the town names on the map in Native.
