Thats what I have done. If Sunhawken doesn't want to take the time (short amount) it takes, then I can give him my code to do it. I haven't played his mod but can you only sail from port cities and not every city and can you only have one ship (in the native version as it is now, you can have multiple ships and try to sail from every city)?

Very nice, I'm impressed on this find.
I suppose this is for future versons to work with, adding both navel and land combat to native.

I found a way to siege towns using this "cheat" dealio... (!)
Don't blow chunks until you try it. I took Praven as a Nord.
Procedure:
1. Show up to an enemy town with your party... (haven't tried with friendly towns)
2. Choose CHEAT! External
3. Walk around in the city until you get to the keep, and use the action key when the door prompt shows up.

->Press F, or your otherwise assigned action key.
4.You should lag for a second, then respawn in the town with a couple of your troops. No enemy troops spawn, however.
5.Press tab, and select yes, you do wish to retreat.
6.Typical siege screen, construct the damned ladders, etc..
7.Go charge the enemy, do the whole thing.
8.Win.
Unfortunately, since the city map was not designed to be sieged, enemies tend to spawn in... odd places. If you intend to complete the siege in person, bring a bow and a cheat code.

Just took Praven.
Had to use Ctrl+F4, people on the roof. I took a screenshot of a lot of people falling off the roof, but it didn't save.
But you can't take the town. You capture it, gain five renown, and then sent back to the city menu.
It still says it belongs to the enemy, though.
But I see something there.

You'll need to wait around for a while before the town changes factions. Mine changed factions in like 15 seconds, and by the next morning, my king offered it to me. Did I take it? You bet!! Of course, you can't manage the town yet, even though the button is there (the same as castles). Cool to have caravans and villagers trading with your city, though
