hi i can't leave kingdom as mercenary soldier..

I don't remember if that button is supposed to work or not for merc, but you should be able to speak the ruler and choose to leave too.
If you are in an army (or have clan party in an army?) you might not be able to use the button until they're not in an army.

it should work. I done it 3 times yesterday so idk whats up with your side. Report it in bug section if it persist. Perhaps saving and restart the game will help

it can be some mod that are out of date perhaps as it wont work with that new version (if so) that can cause an conflict...But thats only an guess. If you havent switched version of the main game and had the mods as before without updating them then it should work if it did before

Em…I guess it's not a complicated problem as you guys thought.
The button "leave the kingdom" in the "family" column can't be used once you join a kingdom. Open the "kingdom" column instead, and you'll find the same button which is functional.
I'm not an english-speaker, and can not assure the translation of nouns like "family" are correct. But I think you all understand what I said.

lol, do people play this game unmodded? not trying to be a jerk but do these people truly exist?
Yes, it is very fun actually. And since I play beta, mods would be a bad choice, mods should only be used on main branch imo.
I'll happily wait for some big mods one year after release.

Yea I do I wait for actual mods if I want to change one xml file I do it myself and even then I don't I am waiting for actual mods basically

ok fair enough guys, i just couldn't see myself playing it unmodded because there is so much stuff that annoys me about native.
But anyways to the OP now... I had the same problem as you and one of my mods I wrote was blocking me from leaving a kingdom. I am not sure but if you use my Cheyron's Campaign Helper Mod then that is the reason and I just fixed it and uploaded an update to Nexus. But if you don't use my mod then it is highly likely you are using a mod that is patching the game somehow.
