Hi everybody I had maken a video of mount and blade 1.003

What I say might not be what you would like to hear (see in this case), but I'm not going to lie to make you feel better. That video is okay, but not more - I have no idea why it got 5 stars. There are simple reasons for that.

First and most important: if you are going to release material for public, make sure you use the language properly. Maybe I don't know that "there" was used for "their" in any period of history, or something like that - in that case I would like to add some knowledge to my dumb head, so let me know. But please, if you do stuff for the public, ask somebody if the language is at least orthographically correct. I hate to see such mistakes in works that would otherwise be good.

Second, the video is a heap of practically random fight pieces. Not only that, but even taken from a boring fight. There is not much to see in that video, nor does it feel...I don't know how to say that in English, but it feels empty. Music is ok, text was used to tell something (although I didn't see any sensible message), and you used different cuttings (again not sure whether that's the correct word). Too many different ones in my opinion - there is a saying in my country that points it: less is more. Its like a powerpoint presentation; you just start to feel really weird if someone added "all these cool features" to the presentation, making your eyes sick of these blinking, bold, italic, size 48, scrolling, color-bordered words.
And the camera was hopping/moving around completely aimlessly. Again no "red clue".

That video somehow makes me think you are young, you talk bad English, or you are still very unexperienced with that (or a combination of those). Which is no reason to shame, of course. What I want to say is: keep doing that if you have fun, and with growing experience you will become better relatively fast. If these are still some of your early steps, they aren't that bad (I have seen much worse stuff). And maybe you will reach the level of Toboe, whose videos are very close to be masterpieces of art (at least the 6 I know of, especially the both M&B videos).

How do people manage master technology enough to put together videos and post them on the internet, yet cannot speak their own native tongue? I had maken? That's hysterical.

well , i think it's a good video , ind i am JEALOUS , cause my computer sucks so much that if i make a fight like that , the FPS would down to 5.00...

no matter , I'm going to buy  Geforce 256mb, that would do...

I think he's french.

Given his name is French and the description of the video is in French, I'd say that's a pretty good assumption.
Oh, I didn't notice that. He said it in the other thread I think.

If he's French that's understandable; but his profile language is set to English, which threw me off.

Because i have a video i want to show you guys, i don't want to make a new thread about a video so i will post it here.
Note: The video is really noobish and has crappy graphics.

quick question if I may.  I see videos panning the camera outside and far away from their character.  how is that done?  thanks.

Great video dude, you've got an eye for this kind of thing. Besides the great choice for the song, you used the observer mode very well and selected some good pieces of that fight. What I'd change would be :

1- at the ending, before showing the corpses, show your warriors cheering, that would be a great complement to the end of the song and the video.

2- You really need to get a spell check with someone... Video looks that's been made by a pro but the text looks like it's been written by a 13-riled ( english is not my native language too, what I do when I'm confused about a term of phrase, I type it out on google, most of the times you will find the right answer ).

3- The fight isnt that good... a bunch of knights destroying sum nords, next time make a video of a khergit fight or infantry fight ( is it just me thats getting tired of mounted combat videos ? ).

 it's right that I'm not good for speak english ^^ I have 16 years old  so speak english is for me very difficult  And yes I'm french. Oh Master BOB !!! I'm not agree with you!! For me we learn by making mistakes. So your comments allow me to make better video in future

Maybe you got me wrong, because helping you to become better was exactly the reason for my posting. So you DO agree .
As I tried to say, I see some potential in that video. It can be seen that you know how the software works, and what is needed to set a proper film. All you need is more experience and some feeling. But maybe I should give some hints, not only criticize:
For better English, the best thing is to play English games and surf through the internet, that worked perfect for me. Best learning is learning with having fun, because it will go automatically (I'm lazy, so that is my preferred method ). And when you are not sure about your language skill, don't be so lazy. I'm pretty sure you know how to use the internet. It's everything there, just waiting for you to look up. If you really can't find anything (happens sometimes, for example "ragdoll" has no fitting translation in my language), just ask someone. As long as you FIRST search yourself, and THEN ask others if you see no way, most people are willing to help (that goes for everything, not only languages).

Concerning the video itself I'd like to remind you: less is more. Take any good film you like and watch how the scenes are cut together, how camera movements are, what perspective was chosen, in what kind of scene it was chosen, and what effect iyou think it has in that scene. Watch on a meta-level. None of them has such flashy cuts like your video has. And do they look bad? No. It is good to have the possibility to use a special thing if you want it in a special situation. But one special thing after another is too much. There is another saying in our country that might say it better: too many cooks ruin the meal.
Really, I still can't understand that anyone gives the video the highest rating. Its just not honest. But I'll tell you something: if you have passion (and as far as I can see through the internet you seem to have at least fun, which is good), you will deserve five stars sooner or later. But not yet.

By the way, this forum has a "spell check" button

There are only 3 options in the profile language setting (Turkish, Russian, English)

i thought it was pretty good, the grammer was off but i know where you were trying to go with it.

nicely done
