As you probably are aware of - most (if not all) regiments are recruiting, but we (the 26th) are not an exception

If you've not already made a choice, it might be worth checking out the 51st as well, at http://www.51stregiment.com/news.php. We're one of the larger regiments, and we've got one of the most populated siege servers running if you want to jump on and play for a bit.

While its possible, most groups look down on it. There are, however, some very active regiments that go to many events and have many trainings. The community is a great scale in terms of what you want to put in time and commitment wise. Best bet may be to shop around the regimental forums.

The 51st is a huge regiment, lots of people and they have huge trainings and linebattles
Same as the 79th, 91st, and 92nd.
The 1stEPI and the 1tesWfs are large, but more focused on being historically accurate
Then there are regiments like the 1stFKI and many regiments similar that are meduim, more of a small gaming community
The 7de fits in the samll gaming community, we are often doing other things like minecraft when we are not playing NW. Some of us are almost always on TeamSpeak aswell

Hey there! If you're looking for a commando type of unit, you might want to give us a shot. You'll live longer, have more freedom of movement, and be able to freely take cover. just saying its tactics arent "rape everyone because we are huge", more like "rape everyone because we use actual tactics"

He didn't even mention the 1er. Why feel the need to bring it up? I can list off at least one occasion in recent memory where a 1er player has missed the 51st from a list of "creditable" and mature regiments. Don't read something into an innocent statement.
In other news, the HBS Blobdominica is currently watering in the caribbean, and shall be continuing her annual commute between Canadia and Blobdominica shortly.
