Heraldic mail doesn't look right

I've noticed there is problems with the Heraldic armour. I selected a flag at the start, but later when i bought some Heraldic mail, it was bright green on the back, despite me picking a white banner  :???:

This link contains code to solve the problem:

Thanks immensely for the guy that came up with that code. As said, if this is put into the next release, he must be given credit for it.

Its the back that need changing, but centering the banner would be good too. I hope this gets included in the next release.

This problem bugged me, because Heraldic does not have very good stats and nor is very light. The only reason people buy and use it is because it looks good. But in this mod, with certain banners, it simply doesn't. I stick with Coat of plates or banded armour here.

Weird.... I don't usually use Heraldic mail, but thanks for the Heads up!

It should be mostly ok... but the particular banner i picked had a green back despite being white on the front

But rather than just fix that one banner, its probably better to implement the code from the link i posted. That way, it looks better and any problems such as the one i am having are overcome.

hell I know I'm necroing on my first post which is generally deplorable but I've found no other threads adressing this, and better to post in an existing thread than start a new one, right?

I suppose my specific problem is slightly different. I put a custom banner in the game overtop one that was already there, the back is colored green. Thing is, it looks really awkward with the color scheme on the front and I don't want to make a new banner based around a pastel green.

The link that this thread points to as a fix is either missing or I can't access it. Could someone tell me how to fix this, so it matches up with the banner I'm using? Is there some .txt file that controls the back mail colors to all the flags? The regular lords' backsides tend to match.
