Help?

Could some help me? I've tried gettin some help in the town square but not real success, i try and download mods and they come up as RAR files, but major mods like this one come up as readable zip folder, so idk whats wrong..

RAR and ZIP files are compressed files.  You need a program like WinRar to uncompress them.

umm i tried downloading it, but i got a error during the download....

well win...but after some looking around i figured out what was wrong and know i have this complicated system that i have to do in order to get the stuff out of the RAR file...so ya..
