Well. i understand the mods dead. but when i try and lumberjack it says i need tools. I go buy some tools. same thing, I get lessons, some lumberjacks, still no cigar. Any suggestions on wtf im doing wrong?

you need to place the tools in the upper left had corner of the inventory slot, hope that helps

Cernunos, apologies if I missed it before, but is there a reason you are using
(troop_get_inventory_slot, ":tools", "trp_player", 10),
(eq, ":tools", "itm_tools"),

rather than
(store_item_kind_count, ":tools", "itm_tools"),
(gt, ":tools", 0),

?

Just wondering if there was a reason behind the upper-left-corner bit, since it is such a FAQ.
 
Yes, because in my earlier coding tries, the quality of tools is also taken into considerations in the various gathering and crafting process.

I had to step back because of some issues with the crafting of tools itself. I recently solved this issue, so tool qualities will be back in some future release.
Moreover, crafting uses tools, and quality tools are more expensive than low quality one, and so on.

So I had to let the choice for the player of the type of tools he would use for his craft, either basic tools for easy gathering stuff, or his best tools for his harder craft, or keep his best tools for selling, or, whatever. So basically checking the tools in the inventory wouldn't achieve this kind of results.

And you can see, this is a really basic try. But you have the idea  :mrgreen: I am really more an enthousiastic crazy tryier than a technical coder...  :oops: :lol:
 
Ah. When the modifier matters, I suppose that is easier than a loop to find that slot those pesky tools happen to be in. Gotcha.

Read a bit...and be a little more specific with "an error" if you want help.
 
There really shouldn't be an installation error, as there is no installation really, just download, un7zip in your warband mod folder, and play. Any other stuff, as far as the basic set up is concerned, might be a download issue. I would advise that you redownload it.

As i just downloaded the module yesterday and there is only one download link , i can verify its working (exactly the way crom described).
 
I redownloaded but I get the same thing.

:lol: You are messing with the module system it seems. If you dont want to change the source, you do not need to worry about it. All you need to do is copy paste the Rigale folder into your Module folder within your warband directory.

Try unzipping the folder into the download folder then copy paste it in the module folder. Not sure why, but sometimes it doesnt like to be directly unzipped across directories  :???:

Will download again to check whether the dl is corrupt or not.

Un7zip the rigale file you downloaded in the folder you downloaded it into. Copy / paste the un7zipped file into the modules directory of M&B, just where the natives folder is. And when you launch the game, choose the Rigale V0.7 file and hopefully enjoy :smile:
 
Sounds like your telling me to do the normal module download to me.  I have done with this what I have 100s of others.  Its not working no matter what I try
 
Hey Lethwin, is it unziping anything at all ? if so and it's not unzipping into the module folder, check you havn't accidently checked off 'Do not extract paths'  or something, I know I've done it before. What you need is for the file to extract to ...\Mount&Blade Warband\Modules ( Rigale folder is created from the zip) Sorry if it sounds like we think you don't know much, but as you know we aint there to talk you through step by step, but we are here to help you mate .. hope you get it sorted soon and enjoy Rigale!  :mrgreen:
