Help with visibility in snow

I have big trouble reading "in battle messages" with snow in the background. You know, the typical messages you get in battle (they are important) like "new enemies arrived", "you hit a friendly troop", "marnid knocked unconscious by borcha", etc.

Such messages are written in a white font, as you know, and thus dificult to read on a snowy background (at least for me).

Now, since nobody is complaining about this, I suppose you people are able to configure your screen in such a way as to read those messages on snow covered backgrounds. If somebody could provide some tips about confirguring the screen for this purpose (low/high brightness? low/hig contrast?) I would be very grateful.

I am forced to avoid battles in snowy landscapes, which is a pity.

Well, it needs fixing of course, but i think the reason most don't complain is because those in game messages aren't really that important IMO. They're kinda nice i guess...but i didn't even notice not being able to read them in the snow. The "reinforcements arrived" is bugged and means nothing, reporting damage isn't very important, and you can still read the ff message because it's in red. *shrugs*

the only reason id complain about it is because the crosshair is invisible for ranged attacks and the is teh suX0r for me cause im an archer

"New enemies arrived" is not bugged and it is a crucial message for getting the noble in the mission to capture him (he usually comes last). Of course, in every battle it is very important to know that you are about to be attacked by mounted troops (which happens when new enemies arrive in most battles).

Other messages are not only nice, I find them relevant. Knowing how many of the enemies are being killed/knocked unconscious, for example, can be decisive for adjusting your battle plan...

By the way, I wasn't aware of the other thread, sorry for duplicating.
