Help with Rebellion!!

Having got hold of 2 Castles and 2 Cities i decided that i was strong enough to declare myself a Claimant to the Swadian throne, however, after starting the Civil War and winning my first battle against my fellow Swadians (and also, AFTER saving the game) i realized that i knew not how to make other nobles join me, and have yet to find a way to do so...

So, i come here to ask the good community of Taleworlds... what must i do so as to win the loyalty of other Lords??

Go talk to them, either in there castles or on the world map.

You can only try and convince them once, so you might wanan save before you talk to one of them.

But there is no Dialogue option that involves joining my faction :S, even with those with whom i've got a good standing (16+ relations)...

Does the fact that i have a terrible honour have something to do?

did you declare yourself a claimant or did you find Lady Isolla of Suno?
if you are just a rebel, they wont join you. if you are with Lady Isolla some will join you.

there is no way if you are a rebel.
go find Lady Isolla. Lords will join you and you will be marshall until you overthrow the king.
you can ask travellers in towns about her whereabouts.

So i can never be King myself?? That's pretty lame

What happens if i, as a Rebel (and not fighting for a claimant) i capture the King?? Is he just a normal prisoner, or can i seek to overthrow him and install myself as King?

Just a normal prisoner, but one that nets about twice or three times as much money as other lords 

People in Calradia wouldn't accept a stranger as King, ever. To become king, you had to be of higher birth, so to speak. Being Overlord is enough for me though.

Oooch... I'd go make peace with them and think about giving up those fiefs if you're not prepared for this. As an independent rebel, you are entirely on your own. No one will join you, and factions, once they begin fighting you, will not make peace with you except when the random number generator tells them to.

Alternatively, sign up with Lady Isolla or another faction. That'll help out.

Wait, what would happen if i manage to conquer the whole of the Kingdom of Swadia?? I know it would be truly difficult, nigh impossible, to achieve such a feat, but i would risk EVERYTHING just to try and remain independent, and more importantly, ruler of my own faction.

Maybe if i annex the whole of the Kingdom, then they will recognize me as their rightful ruler , and even if they don't, the money i'll get from all those cities and castles will surely be worth the wait .

don`t think of it as working for a claiment just think of it as..

they work for you, they are your puppet, they do what you say, they are just a figure head for your empire

Well... the Khergits and the Rhodoks are gone, and the Nords are almost suffering the same fate, the only ones which are OK are the Vaegirs... but still, i like Tyr BloodAxe's way of reasoning... maybe that will allow me to swallow my pride and join forces with Lady Isolla's rebellion ^^.

Uh no. Your "faction" would still be known as the Rebel Swadian faction and you will still have to defend your
rebel faction against the other four legitimate factions who will randomly declare war upon you with no change
of you making peace through diplomacy...such is the native game.
~ There are however some mod versions that will allow you to become a king of your own faction. 

Damn! Too slow...oh well...

Although being a monarch isn't as great as you'd think...you end having to marry for political reasons and you
could end up with something like this...

If you join Isolla and eliminate the Swadians, she will replace Harlaus as the rightful leader of Swadia, and you will become marshall and a powerful leader in an actual legitimate faction. Not king, though. Don't know if this is good enough.

guys i need some help, a terrible bug is destroying my fun :/

i joyned isolla (since she is hot) and gave to her the trone.

then when she grabs the trone her dialog simply dont shows up (*error string* or something like that) and the quest dont is complete, i dont have an idea i n what else i should do and the quest still in my quest list.

but the worst part is that i am the mareshall and NO ONE join a fight with me, i should w8 for npcs atack and then join their fight, since everytime i am the first to reach the enemy (always) i am alone. and its prety hard since the enemies gang up against me and at level 40 with 91% dificult its prety hard do all by miself...

anyone know how to correct it?

Addressing the marshall part... if friendly lords are in the area when you engage, they should join in as well. Make sure they're around and close enough. Try talking to one of your lords and telling them to follow you.
