Help with cities!

I want a city. I am the marshall of the Vaegris and i have a captured Rhodok castle in my possesion along with a village given to me by the king. I have good relations with the king and other Vaegris lords. I took my army and seiged the Swadian city of Dhirm and won. I requested that I be granted the city as a reward. Nothing happened. No one owns Dhirm now. It has no lord and no garrison. Will it be rewarded later? I really want a city so that I can build better units using the special structures in the cities. I'm using Native Expansion mod but I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Hmmm.... When i talked to the guildmaster about "Who rules this city?" or whatever, there was a script error. I'm thinkin this is a glitch. Is there a way to use hacks to give the city to me or another lord?

It takes a while for the king to announce his decision (maybe a day or so, it's been a while since I played), but that's assuming it works the same as it does in the unmodded version of the game. Don't know about cheats, but I vaguely recall also running into a script error when I asked.
