Help with adding pictures into posts

yo! how can u add pictures (*.bmp) into a forum message? yes, i've noticed the img button but how to use it? if you just click it

Paste in ur URL, highlight it, and then click on 'Img' button.
Submit the post and ur image will appear.

Isn't your shame increased manyfold because you're writing in your mother tongue? That's how I see it, anyway.

hitman47, you need to host the image on a website to be able to post it. After you've done that, just put the image's address between the tags, like so:

still it's no good. I'm using Opera Browser v 7.54; as i drag into a new, blank page the picture, the following adress is displayed in the adress bar: file://localhost/D:/mount&blade%20pics/headshot1.bmp so i copied it, highlighted it and then i pressed the img button,

As far as I know, you are supposed to have the

You can't just display the image in your browser and expect the forum to find it. You have to host it somewhere, for example at Imageshack.

then you should be able to put it on the forum.

oh and since you are new i should probably tell you not to be to offended about some of the replies you have had. many people on the forum find it anoying when people make posts with leetspeak, instant message language, ALL CAPSLOCK and other stuff like that. just keep this in mind and have a nice time on the forum.
