help with a kidnap quest

>.> I Got the girl from the kidnappers and i brought her back to the town. she's in my party and when i go to complete the quest, it won't let me complete it.  the only two options are What if i can't finish it, and the other is to say your still working on it.    I even put her first in my party and had her right behind me when i talked to him.  and when i go to talk to her in my party at the town, she just asks if we're at the town yet and my guy says no we're not.  What am i doing wrong o.0 this quest doesn't make since

have the .8 version, newest i could find for 1866 >.>  and mount and blade 1.011 ? or w/e the newest version was >.>

By what means did you retrieve the girl?

I paid the money the quest gave me to retrieve her.  Then after she appeared on the map, i clicked follow me and she joined my party.

Seems like a bad bug, it might even be a M&B bug. Just kick the chick out of your party, that's what I'd do.

Put her at the top of the party and go in to battle, maybe she'll die.

she can't die, since she counts as a companion.

I think you can't upgrade her stats or change her armor so.. she will be kinda stuck at that crappy stage forever.

There is a way to get rid of her. Place all your men in a castle and lose a battle against an indian (or anyone else). He should take you as his prisoner. I'm not sure if this works but it should, at least in a few tries.
