help wanted! plz

hi everybody! i need help with 2 mods! they dont work as they should! its the last days mod and hundreds years war mod! and in both of them some armors dont apears! when i wear these armors my body is invinsible! and i have try to change the config and much more! but it doesnt work! and when im uninstall hundreds years war, all weapons in the last days dont apears!? gah help me im going crazy about this! and im very very sorry for my bad english!

you should copy your M&B folder 2 times, and in each folder you put one of those mods. that should do the trick

I don't think it's where the problem lies, since I have TLD & HYW on one single install. You should first try to disable dynamic lightning in the options.

My guess is that either:

(b) you've installed the mods in the wrong directory or on top of each other, since the two mods should not affect each other at all
(a) you've got an old version of M&B, or some other mod has munged your common files

In any case, do the following:

1. rename your current M&B folder
2. do a fresh install of v0.711
3. Install The Last Days in the correct folder (should be something like Modules/The Last Days)
4. Test-play The Last Days
5. Install The Hundred Years War in the correct folder (should be something like Modules/The Hundred Years War)
6. Test-play The Hundred Years War

Try changing "use_pixel_shaders = 0" to "use_pixel_shaders = 1" in your config file if you haven't already tried that. If that doesn't work, it could be a problem with your videocard. I don't think it is an installation problem since you would have gotten a lot of errors when starting up the mod if you had installed it wrong.

but i got the newest mount and blade! 0.711 and it still not working!

I had the same problem with my WWII mod, people could see the metal components (Because they had a shine on the alpha map), but the stocks were invisible, I found out that this was because the alpha maps that control the shine were too dark on the stock, brightening them up slightly fixed it for everyone. Some people had 'use_pixel_shaders' set to 1 and the stocks would remain invisible.

I have this trouble sometimes too, and I am positive that it is because of video card issues and or alpha settings on the textures. More likely video card settings cus I have found that it will look terrible or not render on my computer while it looks perfectly fine on my friends computer(with a good video card) I suppose you could try updating your graphic drivers and see if that helps.

This particular incompatibility has annoyed me to no end since it makes some of the really good mods out there unplayable for me

but its ok now! i installed mount and blade and the mods on my other computer and its working great now!:9 hehe!!
