Alright, here's the deal. My dad has passworded the computer and is trying to stop me getting on the damn computer. He is out right now, and I have ~2 hours to find a way to change the password to what I want. How do I do this without actually knowing the password?

If you're on his account right now, create a new user for yourself with admin priveleges.

You can also make a boot disk to change the password. Not entirely sure how this one works, but google is your friend. Be wary of viruses and ****.

Genius, why did I not think of that.

EDIT: Alright, I even passworded my own account in case. Password hint: AHAHAHAHAHA!

Now, just remember to not look in your dads "boring work stuff" folder. You will be scarred for life.

ISP will always have access to everything you see ever. Nothing is sacred.

Never store content locally. Always browse in a cookieless (privacy mode or whatever) session, or delete all local content. Any videos you download (i.e. "Karasnightout4.wmv") will be saved by Windows in recent documents.

Only go to sites you trust. Porn industry is the second leading cause of viruses (next to torrents). If they let ads slip through that carry viruses, they can't be trusted. There are always other places to go.

Spybot Search and Destroy should be run occasionally to make sure the system is clean. http://www.safer-networking.org/

Every time you download a video, verify that the file extension is actually a video format.

You can get plug ins that are supposed to prevent tracking sites and block adverts from sites which you don't ear-mark as safe.

Or, you set your browser to automatically delete all tracking cookies along with your browsing history every time you exit, and you can also download and run this fellow for good measure.

I'm surprised no one asked why he was locked out in the first place. Maybe it was for the greater good of humanity and you'll regret this later in your life.

Humanity's pretty ****ed already; watching the world burn would be mildly entertaining.

Yes, I'm still trying to track down that first porno I saw.

I was locked out because he when he is not using it for work I'm playing on it. My computer was fried in a lightning storm, and I haven't got the money for a new one. Funny thing is, he locked it so he could use it for leisure... all he does is sit there watching those reaaaaaaally bad youtube videos of fail compilations and stuff, which not only stops me from playing but laggs my brothers internet too

Anyways, he had a little laugh when he came through and saw me online and stuff and wondered how I managed to get in
