@bayvooz Sadly I've already tried that and many more ways to fix the issue.

I didn't have "CN" folder at all, I had "CNs" folder and I tried deleting it. I also installed & updated all the software linked there and tried to run the game with Windows anti-virus turned off.

I reposted this to technical support forum and hope some dev will pick it up, cause sadly I've discovered that there are many people with the same issue.

Is it possible that the game doesn't work for people from specific country?

Windows does have optional language packs it doesn't install which can cause similar issues, though toggling the Windows language should trigger it to go fetch the needed packs. You could try it, but I doubt that's the problem (though with Windows you never know).

Have you tried running the game as admin? If Steam is installing to the default Program Files location you might be hitting permissions issues when the game tries to access the directory; right clicking on the executable, going into properties and checking the 'run as administrator' in the compatibility tab might help.

Yeah, I tried running the game as admin, tried running the steam as admin, tried to run all 4 .exe files as admin. Same issue.

I might try to change windows language, but I already got info from other folks from my country that the game works for some and doesn't work for others. It's super weird.

That fixed it for me! I don't know what exactly it was, because there was another patch today and I already tried installing the 4 links. But I think deleting the CN folder helped. So for everyone still having troubles try this: "Remove the file located at \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\SandBox\ModuleData\Languages\CN"

I bought this game and after five hours of trouble shooting I’m in exactly the same boat.

Press play, get nothing. Launch as as admin, get nothing. If I use one of the exe I‘ll get a white screen for a few seconds. If I use that same option as an admin I get about a second of a loading screen, then back to nothing.

No errors, no indication of what might be wrong. I’m just exasperated at this point so am hoping that uninstalling and reinstalling will magically fix it. If not I guess I’ll just have to wait for a patch that at least let’s me get far enough to get an error message or refund and wait untill the game is further along

Hi there, I could not get the game to run with the recent NVidia drivers - so i downloaded the previous driver, installed it and the game now works perfectly well. There may be an issue with my setup or possibly with the new NVidia driver but rolling the driver back sorted my problems out.
