Helmets and Plate Armour + other comments

Hi there, I'd just like to say this game is bloody brilliant! I can't wait till it's fully released.

Now on to the topic at hand. What I've noticed is that the helmets in the game seem to be from Viking/Early Medieval period, with only two exceptions (I think). Also, there are only two suits of plate armour.

For the final release, why not try to implement various other forms of Late Medieval helmets (for example: various forms of bascinets, sallets, armets, and barbutes) and different styles of plate armour?

Elaborating on the plate armour, Late Medieval (ie. c.14/15) plate armour was varied in each country. For example German, Italian, French and English plate armours were all in some way, stylistically different from each other.

What I suggest is to follow the same pattern, but with a distinct M&B twist. For example one could have Swabian armour, Vaegir armour, and others. However, I think if this does indeed get implemented, then the different plate armours should have the same protection values.

Overall, I think this would make the "kitting out" aspect of the game a lot more varied and interesting.

Cheers,
bb

I agree with at least some variations in the main game, and of course others will be modded in, we don't want to have TOO many items now do we?
