Hello? Anyone there?

Maybe on what they are working? What issues they have? If we should expect an update within the next 4 days, weeks, months or years?

I guess nobody here thought that they stopped working at all, so what kind of information is "we are working on it" for an EA game?

It´s like saying "you´re an idiot"...yea but everyone knows that already so?
Have you ever been part of any sort of project development?

Just give it 30 minutes

Not really, it´s more about improving graphics and fixing broken / non working stuff and adding some more life to the lifeless city and npcs, but it´s still not much.

I would say that this should have been the release version. I still can´t believe how a broken and overpromised mess like Cyberpunk could get that many GOTY awards. Guess it was the hype...
Just as I thought then...
But if you look back ten years or more, it's a trend that just keep on growing with AAA titles
It's kinda nothing new..

To get back on topic a bit, i didn't anticipate that bannerlord would be this bumpy road it is, I guess it doesn't matter the "size" of the project anymore
Apologies if I'm not making much sense

Do you seriously think you are the only one? We know how this works and, no, more transparency is not hard.

Agreed. Decent communication, transparency and openness are actually quite easy to achieve on most projects. You just have to prioritize these things. (Plus it's not like Taleworlds are just five dudes in a basement anymore).

In the case of Bannerlord, you simply need to make sure that the staff that you have allocated to community-relations actually do their jobs in a far more pro-active way (fulfilling their function as a true link between the dev team and the public) - I won't mention a certain community manager who is harder to find than a poltergeist in a snow storm). So key words for communication are always the same: open, active, constant.

I think much of the frustration occurs because if you have been gaming for a little while, then you know there are many dev-teams out there who do this stuff properly .... and actually make their community feel valued.

Right now it feels like the TW devs see the Bannerlord community as just a weird but necessary add-on.... kind of like a teacher saying " God, this place would be great if wasn't for all the kids ! ".

The only exception to this is the modder's Discord, but that's only because the devs are aware of how badly they depend on the modders for the future to keep the game alive.

To expect much better than this is ..... normal.

A lot of effort from developers is going into this game and it means a lot to us to see you enjoy Bannerlord. The lack of communication since the start of January is my fault as I was on vacation, I am back now though so let's get it going again.

You're bad people, but I like you .

Now on a serious note, I'm no longer interested in when the next patch(es) will be released, but rather what to expect from the post EA version (Gold).
