Health Regeneration Rate

Hello,
I'm looking for help, about editing mount&blade data, so when a king or lord is fighting on a battlefield, he has health regeneration rate, like for a example 3 hp/sec.
It's quite frustrating to avoid being hit by arrows when you are fighting like a big hord of mercenaries, sometimes it just get's annoying. So I thought, how could I implement such a thing?
You know, it would be nice, when sieging castles, I could regenerate, so I wouldn't need to retreat that often anymore :smile:
Does anyone know how to do this?

In the Expanded Gameplay 3 mod there is a regeneration amulet so it is possible, but I dont know how.  :???:

I would like to know too how could I implement regeneration to my game.

Wolverine would definitely beat Chuck Norris when it comes to regeneration.

At least, Wolverine in origins instead of the other movies.
 
I don't like to cheat like that in this game, it just takes all the fun out of the game, i mean that ctrl+h.
But if it was possible to get, alright, let's say 0,5 hp/sec regeneration rate, that would be really awesome, I wouldn't get pissed off so quickly :grin:
 
So crtl-h is a cheat, but modding is so you are nearly invincible is not?

Why not just get better? or put it on easy

In Call of Duty 4 there is regeneration and you are NOT invincible just because you are regenerating but it greatly adds to the fun, if you manage to stay unharmed for a while you deserve to get your HP back, (HP = ability to keep fighting).

In M&B if you get headshoted in the first seconds of a 20 minutes long battle you are forced to stay away from the real fight and lurk around super cautiously because if you will get knocked out the battle ends in a stupid autoresolve where you will loose Huscarls to looters and such stupid things, thats not fun.

1 hp in every 2 or 3 seconds will not make you invincible but will let you enjoy the game better.

This regenarate thing in block buster fps, is exactly what I hate. Where's the challenge? At the very minimum, make it a healing spot, somewhere in the middle of the level. Or an intermediate save point, whatever. In my humble opinion, what makes fps interesting is the fact that the player is stressed, fears he will die. This is immersive. Knowing that you cannot die if you don't want to, takes away all the fun-challenge-immersiveness-fear...

This is exactly the same in M&B. When you get headshot right at the begining, you battle with fear now and have to be extra carefull. Still fighting and helping your side to win. When you eventually win, having 10% hp left, your armor looking like a hedgehog with multiple khergit arrows on every side, your horse dead, your right arm completly bloody red... you have a great feeling.

The autoresolve is absurd, but regeneration is a terrible idea, it work sin COD, but mount and blade is different, you can't be reckless and beserk, that's the point.

I think an ability to watch battle to its conclusion after you get knocked out is better than health regeneration.
 
That I attest to.

Also, regeneration will give even more power to the cavalry, since they can decide when to fight and when to heal
