Ok, now im REALLY pissed. I just scratched 40k denars together and bought me that beautifull spirited Charger.
In the next fight i get mauled by a bunch of Dark Knights and my damn horse gets crippled and is now a lame charger. I know i have seen horses heal, but i dont know anymore what i did so this would happen.

Can someone tell me how horses can heal? Id hate to loose 40k in one fight. Damn this sux!!!

I dont know how they heal but people say they do if the become swaybacked, if its lame then it wont heal if i remember correctly. My advice is that never use charger horses or any expensive ones against other cavalry, theres no advantage of charging other horses. I use very quick spririted coursers for this, the enemy wont catch me and i can ride past them over and over until they die.

horses heal over time but when it does, it wont be "spirited" anymore.

sorry.

swaybacked horses can lose the swayback prefix if it becomes injured, lame. when it heals from that injury it will become regular.

 Ok guys thnx for the answers. Ill just keep it around and think of the good ole days till it heals to be at least a normal charger again......

I don't think lame horses can upgrade or heal...

Lame horses do heal eventually, or so I've heard. Depends on one of those healing skills, I think. Don't know which one.

Lame horses to me don't seem to heal at all unless I keep them in the inventory. The cure for swayback is to cripple the horse and then keep it in inventory until it heals, and if a spirited horse goes lame and heals it won't be spirited anymore.

Heh, thnx all for the tips. I have it in my inventory now for like 20 days, and it will be ok at least to have a charger back, even if it is not spirited anymore....

This is why I have 9 back-up horses (although the cheaper variety). Spirited steppes and saddle horses I take as loot.

It seemed hard to loot the better horses. I wonder why..... :?:

I don't know what you lads are going on about, I bought a heavy courser, only to take a flying jump of a hill into a river which knocked my horse out and made it lame once I finished the battle. Instead of swapping it for another horse however, I just kept riding that one, and in under a day it went straight back to Heavy Courser...

In 30 days you could buy a whole lotta chargers.

Instead of just holding ctrl + space, I am sure you could just rest at a tavern over and over and over...

again, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?!?!?

As I said not so long ago, it doesn't (always, maybe) take 30 days, I just kept riding my horse after it got injured and it was back to normal within the SAME DAY...so can someone please tell me why you keep going on about 30 days to heal horses?

I'm talking about in the new version, it couldn't have been a week ago, I made my horse lame, and in under a day it was back to perfect condition as it was before...

or maybe tam thinks real life days. lol.

I would NOT spend an entire real-life month waiting for a horse on a game to heal. By then I could buy a bajillion more horses, beat the game 10 times, and take a 10 minute power nap.
