Having trouble getting it to run. (help!)

I recently tried to download the new beta for PW 4 and after extracting the file and all of that doo da I went to play the game. The initial video played and all of that and then I was at the main loading screen for PW. It got around 1/4 of the way done before It crashed and I recieved this error message: 'Unable to open file:Modules\.\resource\pw_shaders.brf'

I'm pretty sure that the . it is referring to is just what my name for PW 4 is in the mod selection...

Anyways, what should I do to fix this? Any help/advice is much appreciated!

I read most of the stickies and read the bug and download sticky but I didn't see anything relating to my problem.

1. Check you've got the right version of M&B Warband
2. If you're on steam verify your local cache
3. Check you've got the right version of PW and you haven't just downloaded a patch
4. Check you're running it in administrator mode for Vista/7?
5. Replace pw_shaders with one from a previous version or another version (just try it)

After that I'm outa ideas.

Also make sure to choose PW from the drop down list in the warband launcher, not start native and then let the game switch modules when you try connect to a PW server - that way the shaders are not reloaded, so doesn't work for modules that have custom ones.
