Have you ever brought in weapons from another country? I've brought in a sword from scotland, 2 spears from africa and a blowpipe from malasia... very entertaining during parties!

I've managed to sneak in a glock air postol as well as an co2 AK from Russia.
Pre-911 ofcourse, because now they even check your socks for weapons. Imagine how bad you would feel for someone having to check Worbah's socks! ew.

I was bringing a decoration katana wnnb (read: no real edge) from some African country (can't remember which ) and they didn't let me go in with it! Damn bastards. Had to put it with the luggage.

Nope. Not yet at least, but one day maybe...I hope.

Hmmm maybe a bat'leth from Qo'noS.

I brought in two daggers and a shortsword from Ukraine. The AK toting guards weren't too pleased. I **** you not, there actually were guards with AK's there. The security checks were before we chose what to put in the storage thingy. They were thrilled to see three bladed instruments in my bag.

One Katzbalger one dagger and one Axe from the Tjeck Republik.

The customs was one third of the price.

My pressius

I once brought one of them throwing star thingies from Germany. (or France, can't recall) The plane was leaving and I didn't have time to put it into my luggage, so I slipped it in my wallet which went to the lil' basket while I walked through the metal detector. Pre 9/11 of course.

Throwing stars from Germany, Lock Knives from France, Sword from Scotland (that one was easy though). Once got stopped when I was 7 years old in a Spanish airport because I had a plastic water pistol. Spanish Police give my parents a bollocking and confiscated my water pistol.......BASTARDS!!!!!

Some people use em for martial arts

I brought a Crossbow into Puerto Rico.... luggage of course

Well, swords are fun, they look cool, swords are fun, they cost a lot, they are fun and if they have real but non-sharpened edges, you can fight with 'em. Of course slowing the swing before the impact but anyways. And oh yeah, swords are fun!

And oh well, I have a nice curved dagger and a repro flintlock from Tunisia, a cool dagger from... Ahh, i think it was from Crete... Plus my 4 inch Python repro and a nice decorative katana.

They all have (well not sure about the daggers) such blades that if you tried to sharpen 'em, they wouldn't.

And as for the meaningfulness of this stuff, at least it's nice to have 'em hanging on my wall alongside with other "trophies" (such as some African handwork, Vietnamese hats etc.) and a world map.

When I was a kid I went to Morrocco from London Heathrow airport with my dad and elder brother (he was about ten). Everything was going smoothly until customs asked the obligatory question to my dad.

"Anything to declare, sir?"
My brother answered "A submachine gun and a hand grenade!".

We missed the plane and had to get a later one, after my dad persuaded the customs officers that the ten year old boy wearing a Lego t-shirt and velcro trainers was NOT a lethal threat to his fellow travellers.

Why the feck do they ask? Will Al-Qaeda admit to having a lethal weapon concealed in a miscellanious crevice/orifice if you ask nicely?

I bought back an extremely large quantity of "bangers"(almost fecking dynamite) from France as a kid.
When combined with beer and milk bottles we made shrapnel bombs

Hmm maybe its not wise to have the words "plane", "Al-Qaeda", "dynamite" and "shrapnel bomb" in the same post. Hang on, theres someone at the door. AFK......

I never ever bring in any weapons from the outside.

In my country. There is a blacksmith village. Where EVERYONE is a blacksmith. And the village is not far from my city too. only one and a half hour ride and I can get cheap weapons. They can make you EVERY kind of weapons. Swords, maces, spears, haldberds, raipers, katanas, sabers.. you name it.
