Have the Tanneries been nerfed?

I guess they are just making them in line with most other workshops. Since most of those produce less than 100 a day too. Once they "fix" breweries and smithies, workshops should be fine.
 
After everything is balanced at game it will not be easy to make millions of denar as in old/first days so equipment prices can go down too but I am not final decision maker at that issue.

This video (pause it when you open it) is at about 4000+ days in game, after 100 hours of play. Clan tier 6, all fiefs controlled by Khuzait with me as vassal. The brewery in Vostrum is at +495 / day, you can see the others in the list. I'd say none of them have been nerfed, and interestingly while tanneries were strong early game, they leveled out to be worth far less than the brewery by late game.

You do have to consider where you place a workshop, the current market, and stage of the game when you place a workshop. It may not be working perfectly but it's getting there. Of note here is that I have a wool weaver that's making more than 2 of my tanneries.
 
Haven't played in about about a month, but smithy's made the most money for me. Primarily in a few of the Battanian towns. They just rolled in the dough.

If your workshops are situated in safe areas, so not getting hassled by bandits or enemy factions then your profits can get quite high. I had some breweries bring in over 1000 denars in a previous playthrough.

Yeah, it was possible then. Just got the new patch but I'm unlikely to have time to play it. I think they've made some changes there. Some of these ideas still apply.
