Not the type of pictures I watch to "get in the mood" but I enjoyed it anyway xD

Working on a new map, will post screenies and details as work progresses! The map is loosely based upon the original Diablo game, stay tuned  :grin:
 
Two new maps have been added to the server which have replaced Temuzu's Town and Perigord.
 
Are you ready to enter the gates of HELL?

Introducing The Monastery, a brand new map for Hunt mod by King Harkinian!

After a series of blasphemous rituals of devil-worship, the evil Pope Pancakes led to the unleashing of forces far beyond his control and which would prove to be his undoing. The gates of hell burst open, wreaking terror upon the Monastery and the nearby city of Harkeytown in the form of legions of monstrous, devilish werewolves.

Now, it's up to the hunters to venture into the mists of sulphur in the tunnels below...

The Monastery is...

- A dungeon-type map, a bit more straightforward than the vanilla Dungeon. It is less easy to get lost, making it suitable for smaller amounts of players.

- A map which combines some small exterior areas, the Monastery's courtyard and a small section of the City where the gates of hell have opened, along with deep dungeons featuring long corridors, stairs, sharp corners, narrow staircases and sinister cells.

- A map with several treacherous small steps to trip fleeing hunters... no more ludicrous hour-long chases!

We're currently running this map along with two other custom maps by Frosty and all the vanilla Hunt maps on the Harkeyland hunt mod server! Have fun!

I IZ BACK! From times long ago a lone man that lived alone set out to the city to sell firs. As he went along on the road he met up with a few other hunters. Then wolves attacked. And I ran away........ BUT NOW I HAZ GUNZ TO SHOOT THE WOLVES!!!!!!!

Hi everyone. After a long period of mount&musket and other mods I have come back now that there is a server for it. I will spend my time about half and half with MM.
 
ANNOUNCEMENT: Frosty has fixed/updated the Pelliorne and Al Mansur maps: he has made it a lot harder to access the roofs on the Al Mansur map, and has made roof access exclusive to beasts on the Pelliorne map. No more gun-toting Spiderman hunters! :razz:

By the way: If anyone needs to talk to me, request a map change, is having trouble on the server, is being griefed, trolled, votekicked without cause, or simply wants to express his or her undying gratitude towards me, feel free to add me on Steam.

So, is the fog ever going to work properly? Because that would be amazingly awesome.

Remember guys, You can make suggestions here, like if you see any problems or want anything added to maps.
 
I suggest you code in machine guns for the hunters...


What you really should do is design a map where the Hunters have been "Surrounded" and now are in a ring of barricades trying to fight off the beastly beasts. And hunters could only have 1 gun ar bow or xbow or whatever.

I actually like this idea. I shall think about it!
 
Meh. If the hunters are camping in a ring, beast are pretty much doomed, or they enter and just rock.
For that style I prefer Invasion.
 
Give the beasts cover up to a certain point. It could be an open plain map with trees as cover or it could be a city map with the ring in the town square. It is up to Frosty, if he makes it that is.
