Hardware crashes since updating to 1.6.1-1.6.2

Whenever I enter a battle or town my PC instantly crashes I tried rerolling back to previous updates but they have started to give a similar result I've tested custom battles and they run perfectly fine but I find the current state of the game unplayable so if anyone could suggest any methods it'd be appreciated

A few years back I had a crashing problems in.very weird places. Then Realised it happened on hot summer days .. yes, my computer was overheating. fans only recycle hot air. I fried my MB. It eventually failed.

I also placed cloth wipes infront of my fans to catch dust, dumb idea , it reduced fan flow greatly.
