now i dont think its a bad idea since there are star wars mods and people seem to be happy with mods based elder scroll ideas. so why not halo since it seems that a number of halo mods have been made for unreal tourmeant and star wars battlefront and a few space sims. also automatic fire is now possible to implmeant now and the unit trees for the UNSC and coveant are already done.
so im going to put foward some ideas and see what comes out of them.
The Story
the best time frame for a mod based on halo for m&b would be the UNSCs attempt to defend harvest from the coveant with the player either taking the role as a UNSC sqaud leader or a coveant sqaud leader, trying to defend or destory harvest (glace it).
Game Play
the mod wouldnt nessciary need vechials since if you have played the game series or read the books you will know that not every battle has a scorpian or a ghost involved. troop combat wouldnt be hard to do and would probbaly very simmlar to other sci-fi mods already out for m&b.
The Skeltons
Humans wouldnt need a new skelton and you could probbaly get away with a spartan not being 7ft tall. elites and brutes could probbaly be human size (of course they are actully slightly taller but never mind), jackels would be human size even if they are slightly smaller, Grunts would need a new skelton but that could easly be done when the new module system comes out, the hunter would be of course pretty hard or impossible to do so probbaly wouldnt need putting into the mod.
Combat
combat would rather oviously be based around guns and grenades, but of course melee wepons could be included like the power sword and brute hammer and most likely the unsc has a type of combat knife.
armour and items
of course there would have to be all new armour but there wouldnt be stacks to do since the UNSC for example would only really need to have 3 sets of armour made but sevrial re-textures. there would also really need to be 8 guns made for the UNSC and one grenade type.
Factions
should be pretty ovoiuse but for the people who arent a fan or havent played the halo series here it is.
