gun

That was funny!

The reason I think you were missing so much is that the game doesn't deal well with projectiles moving that fast. I think that they were 'skipping' through the enemies.

Keep it up though ... you've got me interested in playing with one of those.

hehe, there is major problem if they get near, because the projectile skips the first 3 meters or something, your totally screwed.

Ive never seemed to have that problem of projectiles missing target , i can Headshot someone right in front of me with a 255 velocity arrow pritty easy.

Btw that movie wouldnt work for me , said my computer was running low on memory , which is odd considering i have no programs open , or many in background and also just turned computer on.

hmm...i think if a gun were implemented, it shouldn't be very accurate, reload is MUCH MUCH slower, and it should have something like buckshot

I don't think he was going for a historically accurate gun from medieval times ... I think, from reading his post, he was just trying to have fun and see what he could make.

then it could be to do with the projectile atually being stones as apposed to arrows, they didnt hit or fly properly.

Edit: i found the problem, i made the bullets with the arrow mesh and then made their "reach" backl to a normal arrows reach and it only skips about a meter in frount of you, the rest of the time you hit easy.
