[Guide] How to get Noldor Lord weaponry in mid/end-game

Hello and welcome to my guide fellow adventurer.

Today i will show you what you have to do to get on that awesome noldor bow and noldor sword of each of the noldor lords.

Firstly this guide is aimed at those who already established good relations with the noldor and have completed the quest but still want the weaponry of the noldor lords.

Here is what you have to do:
While in positive relation with the noldor,

-> join against them (you need under 80 relation with them or you wont be able join attack groups against them)
--> autocalc
---> hoard the noldor noble slaves you get (you will need around 50 or so which is quite easy to obtain)

Next up we gonna decrease our relation with them at the elacrai castle:

-> go through the question dialogue (its the second from above)
--> ask em about pointy ears (your relationship will drop by -1)
---> repeat till your below 0 (I usually go for -5, but thats personal preference)
----> you will see that after you go out of the castle it will be gone (don`t panic)
-----> now go to one of the noldor lord spawns and kill em (easy said but enough knights and autocalcing will do it)

Now take the noldor lords hostage: (watch out that the noldor lords have enough health or else they wont be captured)

-> There will be an option to obtain their weaponry (its the never-return option)

Last but not least we gonna reestablish our relationship with the pointy ears

-> release the captured prisoners until you have over 30 relationship

And Voila, you have access to elacrai castle again and needed only an estimated time of 7-10 days


Update 01.01.2016: You wont get honor for releasing non-noble noldor troops (as of build 3.7)

Also the prisoner recruiting occult meddling changed slightly (Only read if you say YES to occultism):

Look for 2147483678 2 1224979098644774918 40 under menu_camp_recruit_prisoners in menus.txt and change the 40 to increase the recruit limit. In order to actually rescue/take prisoner troops of that level, go to scripts.txt and change 2147483678 2 1224979098644774917 40 under party_add_party_prisoners. The level 41 recruit limit in 3.6 was lowered to lvl 40 in 3.7

Some unique spawns will have Custom Knighthood Order Upgrades as an option, when captured.
These are the following known to do it:
Ithilrandir (Noldor) - Access to high end Noldor equipment in your CMKOH, (Harthang Sword if  never-return option is chosen)
Aeldarian (Noldor) - Access to high end Noldor equipment in your CMKOH, (Duskfall Bow if you choose the never-return option )
Maltise (Dread Legion) - Access to Dread Legion plate in your CMKOH, (Dread Legion Plate if never-return option is chosen)

I'd rather you make a guide on how to get all the unique spawn weaponry and armor for your custom knight order (not for me but for other people) added to this, still extremely useful and likely changed for the next patch depending on whether saxondragon minds it or not.

We can always get to 70+ with the pointy ears. They are dumb. They are like children, take mah popsicle and we get a bonus relationship. Talk about POINTY ears and we are no long bff.

Great guide. Do you have what specific blueprints you get from each of the lords / from the castle with 70+ relations, and are they the same?

Also, has anyone else tested this out to confirm that it works in the latest 3.611 patch? It would be really bad to permanently lose access to the castle.

This has worked for me so far in 3.611. I remember there being two sets of blueprints, one from the castle, and the other from either Noldor lord. In other words, once I got several blueprints from Aeldarian, Ithilrandir didn't cough any up (the option isn't even there). I assume it works similarly the other way around.

I seem to remember that the composite bow and lower leveled Noldor armor/horses were from the castle. The Noldor lord unlocks the level 30 armor, the Spirit horse, the Enchanted shield, and the knight helm. I forgot about the swords, but they're probably from the castle. I believe Noldor arrows don't need to be unlocked. I could be wrong on any of these, but my memory tells me that's roughly how the items are distributed between the two sets of blueprints.

Yes. It gets pricy (I think the plate is like 300,000) but that's actually not too painful.

The 30 STR for the noldor armor is more troublesome

Beat them up ... that's the only way

Though the noldor bow is really already the most ridiculous thing.

Also are the secrets from Maltise worth it? Killed her by luring her to a feast at a castle and asking all the lords to come out. 
Debating whether to get the qualis gem or the secrets. I don't think they are any better than the stuff you get from noldor lords right?

Just get blueprint or the ASP amor. Seriously, when you have the capability to kill a noldor lord, you could easily take any qualis gem on the map already. Why need another one then.

Because I can use the qualis gems to get stats while putting most of my points in int to max a lot of my skills.
The ASP armor from what I remember isn't anything special and if the blueprints are inferior to the noldor stuff I don't see the point.

The only point is the completion of the game. Well I suppose going for a Perfect Build of the Century with every single party skill maxed is very good. But come on there are cooler things than stats right? Unless you have gotten every single minor faction armor, then just drink some juice while conquering Pendor. You may have the gout though, because that's a lot of protein.
